Terms of Service
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Service ("Terms") set forth the terms and conditions governing the use of mobile application services ("Service") provided by Smart Tools co. ("Developer"), as well as the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Developer and the user ("User").
Article 2 (Definitions)
"App" refers to the mobile application created by the Developer and distributed through Google Play or other application platforms.
"User" refers to any individual who downloads, installs, or uses the App under these Terms.
"Paid Service" refers to paid applications, in-app purchases (IAP), or single-purchase features offered for a fee.
"Free Service" refers to applications or features provided free of charge, which may include third-party advertisements (such as Google AdMob).
Article 3 (Effect and Modification of Terms)
These Terms take effect as soon as the User downloads, installs, or begins using the App.
The Developer reserves the right to amend these Terms within the boundaries of applicable laws.
If the Terms are updated, the Developer will notify users through in-app notices or update logs. Users who do not agree to the revised Terms may terminate the agreement at any time by uninstalling the App.
Article 4 (Provision and Modification of Services)
The Developer provides utilities, functional tools, and related content features specified in the App.
The Developer may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service as necessary for quality improvements, mobile operating system compatibility, or operational requirements.
Unless otherwise mandated by applicable law, no compensation will be provided for modifications, suspensions, or discontinuations of any part of the Free Service.
Article 5 (Paid Services, Payment, and Refunds)
Purchases: Purchases of paid apps or in-app items/features ("In-App Purchases") are processed through the Google Play Store billing system. Prices and payment methods are displayed within the App or on the store page.
Refund Policy:
Refunds for paid applications and In-App Purchases are primarily governed by Google Play’s refund policies.
Users may request a refund directly through the Google Play Store within the timeframe specified by Google Play policies.
Due to the nature of digital goods, refunds for In-App Purchases or paid features may be restricted once the content or feature has been consumed, activated, or delivered, except in cases of Developer fault or fatal defects in the App itself.
Article 6 (Advertisements)
The Developer may display third-party advertisements (such as Google AdMob) within Free Services to support app development and maintenance.
Any interaction, correspondence, or business transactions between Users and third-party advertisers found on or through the App are solely between the User and the advertiser. The Developer assumes no responsibility or liability for such interactions.
Article 7 (Privacy Policy)
The Developer makes reasonable efforts to protect the privacy of Users. Personal data collection and handling practices are governed by the separate Privacy Policy.
Article 8 (User Obligations and Restrictions)
Users shall not engage in any of the following activities:
Reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or attempting to derive the source code of the App.
Copying, modifying, distributing, selling, or licensing the App without explicit authorization.
Infringing upon the intellectual property rights or other proprietary rights of the Developer or any third party.
Interfering with the normal operation of the Service or violating applicable laws and regulations.
Article 9 (Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer)
The Developer shall not be liable for any failure or delay in providing the Service resulting from force majeure events, system outages, mobile OS updates, device incompatibilities, or reasons beyond reasonable control.
The Developer is not responsible for service disruptions, loss of data, or operational errors resulting from User misconduct or negligence.
The Developer does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any measurements, outputs, or data provided through utility functions. Results are for informational/reference purposes only, and the Developer shall not be liable for decisions or actions taken based on such output.
Article 10 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
Any dispute or litigation arising out of or in connection with the use of the Service shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the Developer’s primary location.
[Supplementary Provision]
These Terms of Service are effective as of Nov 05, 2026.
